HONITON: Falconry on horseback at summer fete

Thursday, 05 June 2014

RIDING?HIGH | The grounds of Honiton Hospital were transformed into a tropical paradise for the League of Friends’ Summer Fete on Saturday, as visitors came dressed in Caribbean costumes. The annual fundraising event featured performances by the Honiton Twirlstars team as well as falconry specialist Jona- than Marshall (pictured), who entertained the crowds with his unique horseback displays. The Honiton Air Cadets were also on hand to help run the coconut shy, alongside all the traditional stalls and attractions during the afternoon.
