A SIZZLING and tasty time was had by well over 100 people at this year’s Big Breakfast held in Beer Sailing Club. A total of £870 was raised for Cancer Research generated from serving 129 breakfasts plus a great response to the raffle. “It is thanks to the generosity of Colyford Butchers and Woozie’s Deli in Beer plus the many local businesses who gave us prizes for the raffle, that we were able to give so much money to the Cancer Research Charity,” said event spokeswoman Annie Boalch. “We had a tremendous help on the day from all the volunteers plus the sailing club was great in letting us use their facility. I think everyone had a really good time.”
