AXMINSTER: Husband pays tribute to crash victim wife

Tributes have been paid to Axminster resident Mellissa Williamson, who lost her life in an accident on Trafalgar Way.
She was known to her friends as Lisa, and her husband Peter said: “Lisa was my world and brought nothing but joy into my life, and the lives of those she met.
“She will be sorely missed by all our friends, but doubly so by me, and our dog, Ruby.”
Lisa, 45, was the driver and sole occupant of a silver Ford Focus, which collided with a grey Toyota Rav4 at about 7.45am on Wednesday of last week.
The driver of the Toyota, a 56-year-old woman. also from Axminster who has not been nameds, remains in a critical condition in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.
Police, a fire crew and two air ambulance crews were called to the scene, and Highways teams are helping to manage traffic.
A police spokesperson said: “Investigating officers are appealing for information regarding this incident.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have seen the Focus and the Rav4 being driven before the incident is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting log number 84 of 190314.”
