West country racegoers can look forward to another exciting afternoon of action this afternoon with Taunton Racecourse hosting a seven race card which gets underway at 1.30pm.
With 71 horses declared and racing conditions of soft, all of the leading trainers including Paul Nicholls, David Pipe, Philip Hobbs are represented
Top jockeys like A P McCoy, Aidan Coleman, Sam Twiston-Davies, Noel Fehily, Richard Johnson are all booked to ride so there will be plenty for all to enjoy.
The big race of the day is The Superman and War Elephant Challenge Handicap Hurdle race at 3.30pm, which is a Class 3 event and runs over two miles and a furlong.
Local racegeors are reminded that a courtesy coach departs from Taunton Railway Station two hours before racing returning from the course 30 minutes after the start of the final race.
Taunton are next in action on Thursday, February 5th when the first race goes to post at 2.05pm.
