SIDMOUTH: Sale success for pre-school

Friday, 21 February 2014

Despite the horrendous weather there was a great turnout for the table top sale and Coffee morning run by The Byes Pre-School, Sidford.
Held in the Sidford Social Hall there was plenty to keep people amused.
There were various stalls selling all sorts of items and games, books, clothes and even paintings and jewellery with each table paying £5 to set up.
There was also a raffle with some great prizes.
All the proceeds raised will go towards helping to pay the current running costs of the pre-school and, along with grants from various trust funds, to help pay for new equipment, games and toys.
Byes Pre-School is open every day of the week except tuesdays and new members are always welcome.
The group often makes use of it's brilliant location by going outside for walks along The Byes and going pond dipping.
Finance Officer Helen Harms said: “We had a fantastic day, a brilliant turn out despite the weather and I would like to pass on my thanks to everyone who helped.”
The event raised £220.
