A sweet celebration for lovers of chocolate in Sidmouth

SIDMOUTH'S chocolate lovers were treated to a week of free tasting at Emily’s Chocolates in New Street.
To celebrate National Chocolate Week, Emily’s Chocolates put on a bumper week of tasting for all customers with a chance for people with all tastes and diets to enjoy a treat.
Including in the tasting was an opportunity to try the natural Stevia chocolates, Kim’s Belgian Chocolates, fairtrade Divine Bars, French macarons, the exquisite Van Coillie range and Valentino handmade truffles.
Exploring sweet treats for those with special diets, there was also a chance to try raw chocolate, a full natural product made from pure cocoa and Booja Booja chocolate, a British range with is dairy and wheat free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
In charge of the chocolate tasting week was the owner of Emily’s Chocolates, Jane Sherwood, who said: “It is great to celebrate national chocolate week by giving something back to my customers and letting them try things they wouldn’t normally pick. It is all about making people aware of the huge range of products available and it is has been important to me to promote dairy, wheat and gluten free products as well as chocolates for special dietary requirements as everyone deserves a sweet treat.”
