Falconer bids farewell after season at Escot
Monday, 15 October 2012
ESCOT'S falconer, Jonathan Marshall of Experience Falconry, will not be returning in 2013.
An Escot spokesperson said:?“Experience Falconry Ltd, who has provided the daily flying displays and summer jousting events this year, will not be doing so next year but this most certainly does not mean the end of falconry at Escot.
“Escot is confident that a new falconer will be in place in time for the start of the spring season, as usual.
“Escot would like to thank Jonathan and Adam for their hard work during 2012 and wish them every success for the future.”
Jonathan, who introduced new and exciting falconry demonstrations with his two horses as well as his majestic golden eagle Samson, said:?“I am sorry to be leaving Escot as I have met many wonderful people over the summer months. I have really enjoyed creating excitement and enthusiasm among the visitors and sharing my beautiful birds and horses with so many people. I am currently in meetings with several attractions in the south west with a view to developing something very special.
“If people want to kept abreast of progress they could follow us on facebook or our website www.experiencefalconry.co.uk.”
