Complete Meats in final for Shop of the Year award

COMPLETE Meats’ Honiton shop has made it into the finals of the Butchers Shop of the Year Awards (South of England category).
The awards are run by Meat Trades Journal and the Honiton shop is one of three on the shortlist.

Competition judges make a visit to competing shops and consider things like where the meat is sourced from, how well it is displayed, what other products the shop has to offer and how well the shop communicates with its customers.

A Complete Meats spokesperson said: “ I’m delighted to get this far in the competition again. In 2005 we won the regional heat but the competition is really tough this year. At the end of the day it’s a team effort and I hope we impressed the judge that came to visit us.”

The shop and its staff will have to wait until November to hear the final results.
