HONITON: Joe leaves Honiton Scouts after ten years

Friday, 24 January 2014

Joe Robson has left Honiton Scout Group and scouting after ten action-packed years.
Scout leader Helen Turner said: “He started off as a cub, then moving up to scouts and finally explorer scouts.
“He has achieved so many things in the time he has had in scouting, so he was presented with a big photo frame full of photos of him doing all kinds of things like archery, Segways, swimming, cleaning the war memorial and cooking.
“It will be a keepsake for him to look back on with pride.
“We would like to thank Joe for having a go at everything that was offered to him during his scouting life and we will miss him very much.”
Joe left in style as he was presented with a Platinum Award certificate and badge from District Explorer Scout Commissioner Steven Parkyn.
