AXMINSTER: Two catalytic converters stolen in Axminster

TWO catalytic converters have been stolen from cars in Axminster. A Mitsubishi 4x4, parked in Woodbury Way, was targeted at some point on Tuesday, June 10th or Wednesday June 11th. The second incident involved a car parked on a private driveway in Chard Road. The vehicle involved was also a 4x4 Mitsubishi. A police spokesperson said: "The offender/s cut the catalytic converter from the vehicle. This occurred between 11pm on Tuesday, June 10th and 6.30pm on Wednesday June 11th. "Residents are asked to be aware of this incident. Please report any suspicious activity you may see or hear in and around your area to the police promptly, calling 999 if activity is occurring at the time of your call. Anyone able to offer information regarding these incidents is asked to call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101.” The crime references are CR/080471/14 and 080416/14 respectively.
