COLYTON: Search is on for carnival royalty

Tuesday, 17 June 2014

COLYTON Carnival Committee are now looking for a Carnival Queen, Princess and Prince. The entrants are asked to raise funds for the carnival and if successful will receive a dress/suit and a percentage of the amount they raise. The competition will run throughout July, for further details call Samantha Underdown on 01297 552017. The carnival committee are also making changes to the popular carnival market this year. Due to the closure of St Andrew’s Hall the sorting of items for the market and the sale of furniture and garden items will this year be held at the Reece Strawbridge Centre, with a shuttle bus running between the Dolphin Street car park and the Reece Strawbridge Centre on the day. The open air market in the car park will continue as normal.
