SIDMOUTH: Classic car stolen from car park

A 1968 MKII Austin Mini Cooper has been stolen from a car park at Otter Mills Switch Gear on Mill Street, Ottery. The vintage car was stolen at some point between 4.30pm on Thursday, May 29th and 11am the following day. The car is white, with black wheels a black roof and the registration plates saying NDV 919G. A police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating the theft and would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the £6,500 classic car being driven between the hours of 4.30pm on May 29th and 11am the following day. “This is a fairly rare and distinctive vehicle and we would ask anyone who may have seen it or who comes into contact with the car to please ring and let us know.” Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111. The crime reference is CR/077172/14.
