OTTERY: Clowning around at May fair

Tuesday, 27 May 2014

n JUST CLOWNING AROUND: Spangles the Clown entertained some of the younger visitors at the annual May Fair at Cadhay on Saturday (May 24th), where hundreds turned out despite the wet weather to see the stalls laid on in the gardens and grounds of the Elizabethan manor. Many of the visitors took shelter in the tea rooms but the rain failed to dampen spirits, with the return of the ferret-racing as well as archery, dance performances and all the traditional stalls and attractions pulling plenty of people in during the day.
