AXMINSTER: Solid run for Flamingo

A REGULAR?at the Flamingo Pool put in a splendid effort at the demanding Rock Solid Race at Escot Park. Dan Brimmicombe (pictured) was part of a team contesting a 10km obstacle course, and in doing so he raised £45 for Flamingo Pool in Axminster. Dan is part of a group called Water Babies, which regularly uses the hydrotherapy pool at Flamingo Pool. The terrain was wet and muddy but Dan was thrilled that he and his team had completed the race, each raising money for charity. Flamingo Pool manager Steve Buxton said: “We are grateful to Dan for his support and efforts and would like to thank him for his sponsorship donation to the Flamingo Pool. “We are delighted that Water Babies continue to use our facilities to add to our wide variety of activities on offer.” Anyone can make a donation to Flamingo Pool on-line by visiting
