SEATON: Fundraising for Seaton FC’s youth trip to Normandy

Thursday, 27 March 2014

Fundraising continues apace to enable Seaton Town’s Under 12 and Under 14 football teams to fly the flag by playing games against Seaton's twin town of Thury Harcourt in Normandy, France.
Significant contributions have now been received from: Seaton Town Council; the Seaton & District branch of the Lions Club; Millers Farm Shop, Kilmington; Rotary Club of Seaton; Beviss and Beckingsale, Seaton; Seaton Town FC.
Alongside this, help in different and varied ways has been received from: The Gateway, Seaton; Complete Meats, Axminster; Sewards Coaches, Dalwood; The Old Inn, Kilmington; Kevin Oliphant Builders, Axminster; Tesco, Seaton; View From Newspapers; Seaton & District Twinning Association.
Organisers would like to thank all those who helped make the Burns Night held at The Gateway a great success.
Forthcoming events in the pipeline include: Thursday, March 27th – Youth Quiz Night at Seaton Town FC (a great chance for youngsters aged up to 15 years old to test their knowledge - and not just about sports!);
Saturday, April 5th – Quiz Night for adults at Seaton Town FC;
Friday 2nd May – Bingo Night.
For details on how to sponsor the trip or about these forthcoming events, please contact Jamie McCabe on 07896 254948 or Tony Bartlett on 07763 891705.
